CONSULTATION: 

This is a free, get-to-know-you meeting to make sure that we are a good fit for your day and vision! We can meet in person or via ZOOM Video chat for added convenience in your busy season.

PLANNING MEETINGS:

Now that we are in agreement to move forward, I'll get together with you starting 6 weeks before the wedding and help you wrap up any loose ends. During these meetings, we'll review vendor contracts, discuss the wedding day timeline, determine any outstanding vendors or issues, plan the order of your wedding ceremony procession, and finalize setup instructions.

WEDDING DAY TIMELINE:

When should you do your first dance? When should you cut your cake? I'll guide you on standard wedding etiquette and help you customize a solid plan for your wedding day so nothing is forgotten and everyone is on the same page.

VENDOR CONFIRMATION THREE WEEKS PRIOR TO WEDDING:

Let's face it - the last few weeks before your wedding will be hectic enough without having to double-check your vendors! There are RSVPs, the seating chart, writing thank-you notes for early gifts, and preparing for the rehearsal, among many other things you'll be thinking about. I'm here for you during this busy time so you can focus on the most important reason for your wedding: becoming

Mr & Mrs!

REHEARSAL DIRECTION:

Damselfly Events will communicate the day-of timeline and directions we've worked out before-hand on your behalf for your rehearsal. I'll line up your wedding party and share your predetermined preferences and show them how it's done!

CEREMONY SET-UP:

Damselfly Events will arrive at your ceremony site early to verify your predetermined ceremony details are in place such as setting up a unity candle or other ceremony items, and giving your ushers a last-minute reminder of how to seat guests. I also direct, stage and cue music for your processional, recessional and reception events. Working closely with the DJ, Caterers and Photographers to make sure everything is happening on time.

RECEPTION SET-UP:

Damselfly Events will also arrive at your reception site early to verify your predetermined reception details are in place. This may include placing favors at each setting, putting out table numbers, setting out place cards, displaying a guest book, or an assortment of other predetermined items!

EVENT MANAGEMENT:

The Damselfly Events coordinator's role on your wedding day is to help prevent & address unexpected issues that may arise during your celebration while helping you maintain a cool composure and remain a radiant hostess! This may include alerting your parents when it's time for their special dances, directing you to the cutting of your cake, reminding the catering staff to pour champagne just before the toasts, and possibly, if needed, hunting down a stray relative for the family photos. This will allow you to enjoy quality time at your wedding reception and enjoy your first few hours of marriage among dear family and friends. Damselfly Events will keep things in order and moving so you can enjoy the celebration!

PACK PRESENTS:

Damselfly Events will confirm all your gifts and cards make it into the appropriate location at the end of the evening for your designated person(s) to take home. We will coordinate with the caterers and bridal party to pack up extra food for the munchies along the way in addition to getting your overnight bags in the getaway car before you depart.

EMERGENCY KIT:

Damselfly Events always travels with a pre-made "emergency kit" which includes items like Shout Wipes, hairspray, safety pins, hair pins, a sewing kit, scissors, disposable toothbrush/paste, deodorant, straws, Band-Aids, and many other items you may need on the wedding day.

8-10 HOURS ON WEDDING DAY:

Damselfly Events will be the first to arrive and will depart when the new Mr. & Mrs. are in their getaway car and headed off to joyful bliss.

UNLIMITED CORRESPONDENCE:

Of course, you might need some help along the way! Damselfly will be available by email to answer questions, calm nerves, and give advice.

* Please note that Damselfly Events requires a dedicated assistant for events with more than 100 guests or the complexity of the venue and event or if your celebration is in two different locations. There will be an additional flat fee for the entire day.
